Melissa Prosch Huy, Ph.D.

Dr. Melissa Prosch Huy is trained in the field of Clinical Psychology with specialized training in Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Health Psychology (i.e., HIV/AIDS). She provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with known or suspected involvement of the central nervous system.

Dr. Huy’s goal is to provide specialized evaluation, treatment, and education to individuals sustaining neurological conditions. Her philosophy is to understand all aspects of the individual by incorporating each person’s strengths and weakness into functional, real life implications and recommendations. She facilitates this process by educating patients and their family members/partners on the testing and feedback processes.

In addition to her work with patients in her private practice, Dr. Huy conducts research at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. There she currently conducts research related to functional applicability of neuropsychological test results.
