Dr. Lechuga will be attending and presenting at the California Psychological Association in Monterey, California. His presentation ("Using neuropsychological principles to inform psychotherapy for patients with co-morbid neurological conditions") will occur on April 21st.

Dr. Lechuga will be attending the Sports Neuropsychology Society meeting in Denver, Colorado on April 23rd. This is part of the initial organization of SNS — an entity that will be devoted to the identification of properly trained and experienced neuropsychologists that possess a unique expertise in working with amateur and professional athletes that have sustained concussions.

Dr. Lechuga will receive the "Distinguished Contributions to the Profession of Psychology Award" at the upcoming California Psychology Association in Monterey, California (April 2012).

Dr. Lechuga will receive the "2012 Karl F. Heiser APA Presidential Award for Advocacy" at the American Psychological Association's Annual Convention, in Orlando Floridy (August 2012).
